Nobody needs to stop learning just because they have finished working.

The u3a is for people who want to keep active in mind and body, enjoy socialising, and are no longer in full time employment. Members of u3a benefit from being able to join any of our Interest Groups which cover a wide variety of subjects and activities. Our friendly and inclusive groups are run by enthusiastic leaders who encourage everyone to get involved and enjoy themselves.

About Us

Teignmouth & District u3a was formed on 1 October 2019 and we now have over 500 members. We are a member of the Third Age Trust which is the representative body for u3as in the UK.

We have around 50 Interest Groups covering everything from socialising to exercise to learning together - see Groups page for details.
