Anyone in their Third Age – which is defined as having no childcare responsibilities and no longer being in full time employment – can join the u3a. This includes people who are working part time, and there is no lower or higher age limit.

  • Make new friends with similar interests to your own
  • Learn new skills and share your experience and knowledge with other like-minded members
  • Join groups offering a wide variety of interests, hobbies & activities
  • Enjoy monthly presentations by Guest Speakers and regular social events
  • Receive a monthly Newsletter and a quarterly Third Age Matters magazine

We are working towards automated online joining and renewal, as distinct from manual joining and renewal and this is currently in progress. Whilst the new system is being setup, New Member Applications on-line have been disabled and a manual form has replaced the automated one (see ** below).
