Newly launched as Community Heritage and History, members of the group research and present historical themes specific to Teignmouth, the surrounding area, including Exeter and south Devon.  Meeting monthly at Teignmouth Heritage Centre, a programme of talks and 'pop up' topic discussion groups are arranged by a consortium of facilitators from the group.  Examples of future topics are: the History of Teignmouth Pubs, Shaldon Bridge, Tales from a Dawlish family, Teignmouth Station, Teignmouth Pier, Morgan Giles shipyard as well as a themed historical walk, outings and a Christmas social in December.  We collect £1.00 from each member to cover room hire cost and refreshments are served for £1.00.
