Full membership fees include a Capitation Fee paid to our national organisation, The u3a Office, which provides a wide range of services, benefits & advice, liability insurance cover, and direct mailing of the Third Age Matters & Sources magazines.

GIFT AID

I confirm I am a UK taxpayer and agree to have my subscription to Teignmouth and District u3a (reg, charity 1189065) treated as GIFT AID from the date of joining and in the future. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of GIFT AID claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

TEIGNMOUTH & DISTRICT u3a - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

All members must:

- Abide by the principles of the u3a movement, and the terms and conditions of the Constitution

- Always act in the best interests of the u3a and never do anything to bring the u3a into disrepute

- Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times

- Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee

- Advise the committee of any change in their personal details

Your subscription entitles you to attend all normal monthly meetings and interest groups (provided that circumstances allow these to take place). There may be additional costs for room hire, refreshments, Meals, special event entry fees, car-sharing etc.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Teignmouth & District u3a requires members to provide their personal information so that they can be kept informed about events and activities that are offered as part of their membership. We will ensure that this information is stored securely and will only use it to:

- Communicate with you as a member.

- Send you general information about the u3a Office (the organisation to which u3as are affiliated)

- Arrange for full members to receive the "Third Age Matters" magazine
